Prince Charles rubbed shoulders with celebrities at a black tie gala last night.
Charles, 71, appeared in excellent spirits as he welcomed stars including Claudia Winkleman and Rob Brydon to The Prince’s Trust Invest in Futures Gala at Kensington Palace.
West End star Alexandra Burke, elegant in a black and white polka dot dress, was among the guests, while Chic’s Nile Rogers got the dance floor started with his energetic set.

The gala is the largest fundraising event of The Prince’s Trust, generating vital funds to support thousands of young people into jobs, education or training.
Since its inception in 2005, the star-studded event has raised an astounding £23 million and has enabled The Trust to change the lives of over 22,000 young people.

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, patron of the Prince’s Trust, donned a stunning pink and black Alex Perry gown for the occasion.
‘Off to a wonderful night celebrating all the wonderful work the @princestrust has done and continues to do,’ she wrote on Instagram ahead of the event. ‘Championing young people, investing in futures… Always so proud to be a patron.’
Alexandra shared photos and videos from inside the venue, including a clip of guests joining Rogers and the band on stage.

It marked the end of a busy day for the royal, who had earlier joined his wife the Duchess of Cornwall on a visit to the Tower of London.
Charles, 71, and Camilla, 72, were on hand to mark 535 years since the creation of Yeoman Warders, better known as the Beefeaters.
Charles and Camilla were then taken on a tour of the Royal Palace, which is situated on the banks of the Thames.
